After breakfast we start to continue our journey. Today we drive towards Zagora, in the valley of the Draa River. Zagora is a larger town on the edge of the Erg Chigaga, one of the two main dunes in the Moroccan desert. Zagora was once a caravan town from which, as a sign indicates, Timbuktu could be reached in 52 days. Of course by dromedary. Here you can buy rose water and rose oil. We drive on to Skoura and visit the beautifully restored Kasbah Ameridil. During the day we arrive in Ouarzazate, the ‘Hollywood of Africa’.
