Our 12-day tour from Marrakech has everything. The itinerary is varied and offers something for everyone. Adventure desert tour with overnight in the Sahara, traditional Kasbah, beautiful valleys, but also quiet days to relax.
Day 1: Marrakech
After arriving at the airport in Marrakech we ensure the transfer to your hotel / Riad in Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time you have the opportunity to explore Marrakech. Dive into the world of fortune tellers, snake charmers and Gnawa musicians Berber and the famous Djemaa el Fna square. Bed and breakfast in hotel or Riad
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Rose Valley
After breakfast at the hotel, we escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. We drive through the High Atlas Mountains and the high Tizi ‘n Tichka towards the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Along enjoying beautiful views, valleys and views of Berber villages. We stop to visit this impressive Kasbah. Lunch in Ouarzazate. After lunch we continue our route to the Valley of Roses. Dinner and overnight at hotel / Riad
Day 3: Rose Valley – Dades Gorge
Leisurely breakfast and then depart for the Dades gorge. During the tour you will have all the time to enjoy the beautiful road through the Atlas Mountains with its beautiful colors. We stop to meet with Nomads and follow the river further to the Dades gorge. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Erg Chebbi
After breakfast we start our trek to the Todra gorge. We visit the gorge and continue to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi dunes. Along the road time for lunch. From Erfoud you experience the first contact with the desert as we drive through the desert towards the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Erg Chebbi
Today will be a quiet day, because today we drive through the desert and let you get acquainted with the surroundings and the music of the Gnawa’s. Time for lunch and then in the afternoon you will meet your desert guide. The camel ride through the desert is the highlight of our tours and it is an unforgetable experience to dicover the desert scene from the back of a dromedary. You will be accompanied by an experienced desert guide. On the way to the Nomad tentcamp you will see the sunset behind the Sahara sand dunes. Diner and overnight in a Nomad tent.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi
Get up early and camel trek back to the hotel, on the way you stop to see the beautiful sunrise. Breakfast at the hotel and you can continue the day quietly spend at your own insight. Pick-nick night at the hotel.
Day 7: Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate
Breakfast and departure towards the palm plantations of Tafilalet, via Rissani, the old Alaouite Sahara capital of the former Alaouite Sultans. Continue to Alnif, where lunch can be used. Through the Oasis Tazzarine we go to N’kob. We drive towards Ouarzazate, passing the Draa Valley, the Berber village of Agdz and high passage of Ait Saoun at 1660 meters altitude. Arrival in Ouarzazate with dinner and overnight in hotel / riad.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast we start the day with a visit to the famous film studios, after which we continue our way and have a stop for lunch in the High Atlas Mountains. Driving through these mountains and over the Tizi n’Tichka pass, we will achieve in the course of the afternoon Marrakech. Bed and breakfast in a hotel/Riad.
Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira
Day trip to Essaouira, a town on the Atlantic coast about two hours from Marrakech. The town is known for its beach, the authentic fishing and processing of Thuja wood. You see silversmiths and woodworkers to work in one of the most charming Medina of Morocco. We visit a traditional pharmacy and a cooperative where women manually processing argan nuts to the particular argan oil. Bed and breakfast in hotel/Riad
Day 10: Essaouira
Relaxing day in Essaouira. You can design your own idea this day. Visit the Hamman, day at the beach, strolling through the town, the choice is yours. Bed and breakfast in hotel/Riad.
Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech
Slowly get up and have breakfast and then we prepare for departure to Marrakech. After arrival in Marrakech you have the rest of the day at your own disposal. Bed and breakfast in hotel/Riad.
Day 12: Marrakech
Breakfast and check out. Transport to the airport, where your tour ends.
